Regarding your guide book our direction is between calle 21/23, avenida 2. But here in Costa Rica it doesn´t mean anything, when asking a local or more probably a taxi our direction just tell them ¨de la esquina noreste de la corte suprema de San Jose, 100 metros al este, hotel Costa Rica Backpackers¨

We actually are located in a very quiet street, but around the corner you´ll find lots of bar and nightlife facilities (El cuartel bar, Mambo yam, Cine Magali etc) Our 2 places are facing each other, on your left Costa Rica Backpackers (for budget travellers) and on your right Costa Rica Guesthouse (for mid-randge budget)

If you come by car from the airport, take the highway to San Jose, when you get there make a left on Paseo Colon (the main street), drive through San Jose, you will see on your left "El Teatro Nacional"  and eventually "El Museo Nacional", make a right when you get to the Museo, at the street's corner you 'll see the famous "Nuestra Tierra restaurant", keep on 50 meters and make a final left, we are at the end of the street (avenida 6)
